Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EatQR (eatqr.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Service Description
EatQR is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows restaurants and food businesses to create, manage, and publish digital menus accessible via QR codes. Our service includes:
- A dashboard for creating and managing digital menus
- Dynamic QR code generation linked to your menus
- AI-powered menu extraction from images and PDFs
- Automatic menu translation into multiple languages
- Analytics and tracking pixel integration
Accounts & Authentication
To use EatQR, you must create an account using a valid email address or through Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Authentication is managed through Supabase, a third-party authentication provider.
Subscriptions & Payments
EatQR offers paid subscription plans. All payments are processed securely through Polar.sh, our payment provider. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay the applicable subscription fees as displayed at the time of purchase
- Automatic renewal of your subscription unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Polar.sh's payment terms and conditions
User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to EatQR, including menu items, descriptions, images, and logos. By uploading content, you grant EatQR a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
AI Features
EatQR uses Google Gemini AI to extract menu items from uploaded images and PDFs, and to translate menu content into supported languages. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed before publishing
- Your uploaded files are processed by Google's AI services
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-extracted and translated content
Intellectual Property
The EatQR platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of EatQR. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without prior written consent.
Third-Party Services
EatQR integrates with third-party services including Supabase (authentication and database), Polar.sh (payments), Google Gemini (AI processing), and optionally Meta Pixel and Google Analytics (user-configured tracking). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
Limitation of Liability
EatQR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EatQR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
